Every night I sing the kids two songs: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Hush Little Baby, which I change to Hush Little Luke/Ellie. Ellie sings along with me and this is how it goes:
Me: Hush little Ellie, don't say a word.
Her: I NOT sayin a word!
Me: Mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird.
Her: You not buy me dat?!
Me: And if that mocking bird doesn't sing, mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring.
Her: You not buyin me a diamon ring?!
It is hilarious to sing along to. Luke on the other hand pretty much instantly passes out at the beginning of Twinkle, Twinkle.
